Recent studies conclusively proved that people in 2008 is sleeping less than in 1998. This sleep deprivation or trouble sleeping has impact on physical and mental health of people. One of the reason behind this sleep deprivation is People prefer to spend time in late night parties and shows.

An optimal amount of sleep for most healthy adults is anywhere from 6-9 hours a night. Too much (which isn’t the problem for most of us) or too little can have serious long-term consequences.

Sleeping disorder problem alter metabolic functions. It triggers the release of excess cortisol which is responsible for abdominal fat. Chronic insomnia alters the processing and storage of carbohydrates and triggers secretion of various hormones, which are responsible for obesity.
2. Researchers found that a sound sleep improves memory consolidation. Good sleep improves your problem solving skill. In other words, sleep help in learning and retention of information in memory.
3. Trouble sleep might create a problem for your married life
Most of the people with sleeping disorder problem suffer from irritability, impatience, inability to concentrate, and mood swings. Sleep order can leave you so tired that you don’t want to spend time with friends and family.
